The monthly-hour radio show LOST IN TRANSITION is curated by Amdience and it's based on the Japanese concept of 幽玄 (Yūgen). Literally it means «dark», «obscure», «mysterious», but as a concept it has a deeper meaning, it means beauty which is only partly perceived, fully felt but barely glimpsed. It’s a charm of understatement, it’s a beauty which lies in the depths of things and doesn’t seek to the surface. It suggests something intuitive and implied rather than explicit or obvious. The obvious gives way to the hidden; deep feelings cannot be expressed on the face, we can only hint at them, make their existence known, so that the viewer, reader or listener could reflect them too.
